I was listening to a fabulous podcast early today and they were talking about how less than 1% of disease is caused by genetics and more than 90% is caused by stress and here we are, many of us living our lives in fight or flight stress mode. Always going, always on.
I share this with you not to scare you but to let you know just how much control you have over your own health. To give you the opportunity to stop, step back and notice how much stress is in your life.
How often do you feel relaxed?
How often do you feel anxious or stressed?
The podcast also talked about how our beliefs and programming play out in our lives and this also causes so much stress. For many, most of the stress we experience is caused by the way we look at life and how we feel about ourselves. We don’t see how bloody amazing we are and so we end up constantly living from a place of fear and exhaustion.
The two words that I use to describe what I help people to achieve are happiness & freedom. Happiness is quite self explanatory and freedom can mean whatever it means to you. For me it means freedom from limiting beliefs, freedom from worrying about what others think, freedom to let go of things that aren’t helping me, freedom from my unhelpful thoughts. Just freedom to be me!
On this coming Tuesday (15th), I’m running a completely FREE workshop called ‘The End of High Functioning Anxiety’. In this I’m going to be talking about how to change your perception of life and of yourself and also giving you some tools to help you step out of that fight or flight stressed and anxious mode, which as you now know, is going to be a massively positive impact on your life.
If you’d like to join me, just click here to register and you’ll be sent the link to join me. I’ll make sure there’s time for questions too, so feel free to bring any with you.
If you missed the workshop, send me a message and I can forward the workshop recording to you!
Take care

PS - And if you were wondering, the podcast was episode #308 of the Feel Better, Live More podcast with Dr Rangan Chatterjee and Dr Bruce Lipton. They also talk about how powerful your thoughts are and the amazing impact of hypnosis in changing your programmes (something else I can help you with) and you can find it here.
