All your questions answered

I know when you’re looking to make a change in your life you’re nearly always going to have two parts of you trying to run the show. The part of you that really wants change and wants you to take action, and the part of you that is petrified by change and so comes up with every single reason under the sun (all seem perfectly valid) why you shouldn’t take action.

Sound familiar?

The wonderful women that have just completed my Sisterhood programme felt exactly the same when they were contemplating signing up for the programme and I thought it would be helpful to get their feedback to answer the questions you may have about it.

So I thought it would be helpful to share their feedback, unfiltered and in their own words, to help you to take action and help you to make that change. So over to the lovely Susan, Helen and Taylor…

What did you like most about the programme?

"Jo has set this programme up so beautifully to help us go through a journey of our own, and a shared journey with the group. It's hard to pick a favourite thing! Here are some of my favourite things: I loved the structure of the programme which builds week by week in a very natural way. I loved the workbook and audios for each week, which we now have as a toolbox forever so we can always continue to learn. I love that Jo checked in on us throughout each week to keep us focused but how much or little we did each week was up to us, including where we chose to put our focus for the week. I loved our group sessions where we discussed how we were going and shared insights, light bulb moments and experiences. We learned so much from each other in these sessions in a beautiful, safe space to learn and feel supported. Jo facilitated these sessions so beautifully, we always felt so safe and supported by her and each other. In short I loved everything about this programme."

"The content. It's delivered through a mix of Workshops, Reflections, Workbooks and Audios which keeps the learning journey interesting."

"I like how interactive it was and the resources available. It's been great going on this journey with others as we can all benefit from each other's perspectives and insights from our learnings."

Reflecting back to before you started the programme, what has changed since then?

"Before the programme I was anxious, overthinking and feeling quite sorry for myself with stress. I now have a different viewpoint, a more grateful outlook and so much more bandwidth to deal with the stresses of every day life. I enjoy the good moments and get curious with the challenges to see what I can learn from them."

"For me the biggest change having completed the programme is now when life throws a challenge, I can use the tools Jo taught to navigate through them quicker than I did before. Whether its challenges at work or home, I can acknowledge the feelings and process them and then move on with my day. I'm so much happier now."

"I feel much more equipped to deal with harder emotions."

What would you say to someone who was considering signing up to the Sisterhood but was a bit unsure whether to or not?

"I would 100% recommend signing up to The Sisterhood. It is one of the best gifts you could ever give yourself. I was a bit worried when I signed up - worried that I couldn't find the time, worried that I wouldn't enjoy the group sessions, and worried that I would find it too challenging. What I found was that whatever energy you have from week to week is enough, you can take everything at your own pace, the group sessions are lovely and kind, and there is nothing confronting, you only stretch yourself as much as you want to. Plus the resources are available forever so you can come back to the things you want to work on at any time."

"Please go for it!! This was the best gift I ever gave myself. The tools you learn within the programme are invaluable and I've been able to use them daily for myself but also with my family. I would say its an investment worth making and the results would be life changing."

What would you say to someone who was worried about being in a group programme?

"This was one area I was a bit worried about. However, this is actually one of the best parts of the programme. The chance to hear from others about their experience and learnings as you all go through the programme together is a privilege and i have learned so many little gems of insight from the other ladies. It makes you feel safe and like you are not alone on this journey of self-improvement."

"I was apprehensive at first which reflecting back was just the fear of the unknown. What I found was a group of women looking for the same things I was, I found a coach who is more than just a teacher - she's the cheer leader you always wanted."

"It's a totally safe space and no one has to share what they don't want to."

The tag line for the Sisterhood is 'Find your happy, find your freedom.' Would you say the programme has lived up to this tag line and how has it helped you to do that?

"Absolutely!! It has fundamentally changed my outlook and I feel so much freer and more conscious of the narrative I am choosing for my life."

"100%. The tools Jo teaches help to navigate feelings of overwhelm, to acknowledge the different human experiences we all feel and be ok with them, and to find contentment within."

"Absolutely, Jo has given us many ways to look at what happiness and freedom mean to us and how we can frame it in a way that feels most authentic to us. She's also provided great tools to help you see that in day to day life, not only in life's big exciting (but infrequent) moments."

Any other general comments or feedback?

"I would highly recommend this programme to anyone who is looking to be able to not just cope with life but to thrive. If you don't think that's possible for you - that's what I thought - and if it's possible for me, it is possible for anyone! I would just like to say thank you to Jo for the energy, care, love and expertise she puts into this programme. I am blessed to have had the chance to do it. I am so grateful and excited about the pure possibilities ahead as I graduate from this programme. I am going to miss the group so much 😢 😭"

"Looking back on the last four months I have not only learnt valuable life tools, but I have become part of a group of likeminded women who support each other and cheer for each other. Seeing your Sisterhood achieving their own happiness and freedom brings also brings so much joy. Most of all ... I am more content with the life I have."

"Thanks so much for this amazing programme Jo, you've taught us so much about ourselves and the importance of how we view the world. I can't wait to see what else you come up with!"

All of these women were once also torn between those same two parts and they took the step. Before the year is out you could be feeling as happy and free as these wonderful women.
